Quick Information

The redness of the eyes after swimming !!
Some may notice red eyes after swimming, and most probably think that is the result of chlorine in the pool, but the real reason is the urine in it! According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States of America.
Pollutants from swimmers in the swimming pool, such as sweat and urine, are associated with chlorine in the water, leading to red eyes.
The problem is greater in indoor swimming pools, which do not have a good ventilation mechanism, which leads to the assembly of these compounds in the air. The urine itself is harmless to the skin and your eyes, but when you contact the chlorine it reacts with urea (a component within the sweat and urine), leading to so-called chloramines, causing red eyes.
