Syria takes part in Special Olympics World Winter Games in Austria

The 11th Special Olympics World Winter Games in Austria kicked off Saturday evening in the stadium of Ramsau / Schladming with the participation of Syria.

The Syrian delegation includes a sport team of 12 players and an administrative cadre.

The competitions will see the participation of athletes from more than 1oo Arab and foreign countries.

Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen wished the Syrian delegation, who participated in the Special Olympics Flame of Hope Torch Lighting, good residence and success in the competitions which will continue until March 25.
