Wednesday weather forecast: Temperatures around average, local rain showers expected

 Temperatures will continue to rise to become around average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, with local rain showers expected in the northwestern and coastal areas.

The department warned of the formation of frost and ice in the mountains and fog in most of inland areas.

The winds will be southeasterly of low speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main cities are as follows: Damascus 11/02, Daraa 11/03, Homs 13/01, Hama 14/01, Lattakia 17/09, Aleppo 10/01 and Deir Ezzor 13/02.
