 Temperatures will rise but remain 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwesterly currents in higher layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy in general with a chance of rain showers in different areas.

The Meteorology Department warned of the formation of frost in the mountainous areas and fog in the inland parts.

The winds will be southeasterly of low to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be of low amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 08/02, Daraa 09/03, Homs 07/03, Hama 08/02, Lattakia 13/08, Aleppo 06/01and Deir Ezzor 11/02.
